It had been almost five
months since the loss of our dog Bailey and we all were missing the
companionship that a dog (particularly Golden Retrievers) gave us. My wife
and I had spoke of this on occasion and I have to admit that I was not sure I
was ready to handle another dog as Bailey and I were inseparable. But as
time would have it our desires to have a dog outweighed my concerns so on
Tuesday September 26th 2006 my wife picked out our next companion.
Our new Golden
Retriever is a boy we named Charlie. We purchased him (Papered Purebred)
from some folks in Chapel Hill Tennessee. Charlie is one of eight puppies
in this litter and his parents are named Buddy and Zoe.

In the picture below you can see Mowgli is not afraid to
play with this puppy |

And yes puppies of this age (6 to 7 weeks) do seem to
need a lot of sleep. But that will change in another week or two. |
